About the game

Golf you swing with one finger. Play 20 full-size courses, from tree-lined parkland and seaside cliffs to dinosaur islands, rivers of lava and low-gravity links on the Moon, plus 7 themed mini golf parks. Watch every shot fly with its tracer and numbers, read every break with the slope grid, take on the Daily Cup and a Tour season, and play your friends live online.

Common questions

How do I swing?

Swipe straight down to take the club back (further down means more power), then swipe straight up through the line. Keep the swipe straight: drifting sideways pushes or pulls the ball. Settings › How to play has the full guide. Forgiveness upgrades in the Upgrades menu make crooked swipes stray less, and Settings › Accessibility › Assisted swing makes the swing more forgiving still.

How do I read a putt?

On the green, the grid shows the slope: the beads flow downhill, and the mark on the power bar is the pace that stops the ball at the cup on flat ground. Swing past it uphill and short of it downhill.

How do I unlock more courses?

Earn stars on holes (finish, beat par, complete the hole's challenge). Each course opens at a star total shown on its card. Three premium courses (Heron Marsh, Frostpeak Summit and Crystal Crater) are unlocked with gems instead.

What is the Daily Cup?

Every day (midnight to midnight UTC) everyone plays the same front nine in the same wind, and gets one round: once you start it, you can resume it but not start again. Rounds go on a shared board, and when the day ends the top finishers win coins and gems. Play the cup seven days in a row for a streak bonus.

How do tour season prizes work?

Each tour event pays by where you finish. When a season's last event is done, the top 10 in the season standings also win a season-end prize, bigger on the higher tours and against stronger fields. A top-3 season on Normal or Hard earns the next tour's card.

Why is there no putting line?

Reading the green is part of the game: putts show a short aim line from the ball, and the slope grid shows how the green moves. The mark on the power bar is the pace that stops the ball at the cup on flat ground, so swing past it uphill and short of it downhill.

How do I play with friends?

On Home tap Play golf, then Online: create a room and share the room code (up to 4 players). Everyone needs the same version of Golf Realms. You can also play against the computer from the same screen.

Can I change my name?

Yes: on any course leaderboard tap Change, or edit it on the Online screen. Names that contain slurs or swearing aren't accepted.

Someone on a leaderboard has an offensive name or an impossible score.

Open their round on the leaderboard and tap Report. You won't see their rounds again, and rounds that several players report are taken down for review.

How do I delete my online scores?

Settings › Online › Delete my online scores. Your progress on your phone isn't affected.

How do I change my ad privacy choices?

Tracking: iPhone Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking. In the EEA, UK and Switzerland, Golf Realms also has Settings › Privacy choices.

How do I restore my purchases?

Settings › Online › Restore Purchases, signed in with the same Apple Account you bought them with. Remove Ads, the Coin Doubler and the Starter Pack come back. Gems that were already spent can't.

What do the purchases do?

Remove Ads turns off the ads between holes (optional reward ads stay). The Coin Doubler doubles the coins you earn from playing. The Starter Pack gives 3,000 coins, 30 gems and the Founder outfit. Gem packs add gems.

I lost my progress.

Progress is saved on your phone and comes back with an iCloud or computer backup of the device. Deleting the app deletes your progress.
